Linking to IMDb etc...
When you show a movie's scores in IMDb, Rotten Tomatoes, etc; would it be difficult to add link to its relevant page on those sites?
Hey Mark!
It is indeed possible - I'm not sure how it rates on the scale of difficulty though ;) I'll suggest it today in our team meeting and see what the guys say.
Thanks so much for coming here and leaving your feedback - it really is appreciated :)
Show which Netflix catalogs the movie is in WITHOUT having to click on the Netflix logo
At the moment, when you get search results, you will see a Netflix logo. To see which catalogs the movie is in, you need to click on the logo. It would be better if the Netflix catalogs were just listed, much more useful. Why make people click on the Netflix logo for each movie?
Thanks for this - it's been mentioned a couple of times. We're going to see what we can tweak to make it work better, and this is one of those areas. Thankyou so much for taking your time to come here and tell us, it's ideas like this that will shape the future of Moreflicks :D
Amazon and Amazon Prime,
I see that you`re implementing Amazon sometime soon. My suggestion is make sure you indicate if its a buy-rent video or an amazon prime video. I´m quite sure you know that Amazon provides content to Prime members. So it would be nice to know if videos are amazon prime available.
Hi Jose, thanks for your comment. It's a really good idea, I'll pass it onto the tech gurus.
Thanks again :-)
Select country
Some shows are available on Netflix, but not in all countries. Allow the user to select the country on the site, then filter the library before the user searches for a specific title.
Hi there Sarah!
We already do this - if you click on the blue circle on the Netflix check box - out pops the flags of the different regions that you can search.
We're thinking about ways in which we can make this clearer :)
Sort Netflix new arrivals by release date
It's nice the "New arrivals" column but if you don't keep up to date with that column is difficult to watch that infinite (as you scroll) list.
It would be nice if we could have a list like this sorted by date:
http://instantwatcher.com/upcoming_titles
Think something like this:
01/03/2013 (50 releases)
05/03/2013 (7 releases)
...
When you click on a date it expands showing the released content on that day.
Hello Borja,
I like this idea - and I agree that it is easy to get lost in the list of new arrivals - especially when there are many new arrivals in one particular day.
I'll present this idea to the devs. My only concern is how we'd fit it into our existing design - where would you envisage it going? I'd appreciate your input - as I'm sure so will the team.
Many thanks,
Back to live! But missing Netherlands Netflix. Great job.
Lord of Rings II and III on Netflix's Netherlands
Would you mind to elaborate on how you envision this? Do you mean like an index on contact applications: A -> all the movies starting with A, B -> all the movies starting with B etc.
New countries?
